Sheep Maths...

Sheila the Sheep ...is a game I wrote for my first year software module, it makes use of Gwin, a 2D graphics library produced by Nottingham Trent University and is written in C++. The game runs on windows systems, as well as Linux systems with Wine.

The game is designed for primary age children as an aid to their learning and an entertaining tool for practise. The game stars Sheila the sheep (who belongs to Dom Rout (of Cornelius & Co.)) and has the following features; A screenshop of the game A screenshop of the game under Wine
  • High Score tables
  • Dynamic Difficulty
  • Only ever uses integers (whole numbers)
  • Balloons
  • Endless play
  • and Sheila the sheep.

It should be noted that there is a real possibility that the game will cause reality to implode. I've tested it, but I offer no guarantee, so don't run it on a computer you'll be upset to see growing strange things out of its keyboard.

Update:Division system has been revised and now works correctly as well as using the obelus (÷), which is more familiar to children.

Download version 4d, at a massive 718kb, it shouldn't melt your dial-up.
Also, no, there is no rime or reason behind the version numbering.

If you have any comments or would like to submit a high score, plese send them to Sheila's e-mail address, high scores will need a name, score & level, preferably with a screen shot as proof.
